Mission

Our mission is to provide a global resources, to teach, show and share know-how with the early childhood community, help schools, educators and communities educate all children, drawing from the experience of proven programs and educators.

We have something for everyone who wants to participate, and we invite parents, family and teachers to join in incorporating and integrating a media literate approach to educational media.

We hope to involve and train education students to become documentarians of education, to understand children’s body language and other behaviors including forms of playfulness, socialization, or social choreography in the school and the yard. Students who receive this training will benefit by learning to use video in new and meaningful ways in their future lives as teachers to learn how to observe children’s behavior and document their work.

We  like these videos to be used globally, to teach, show and share know-how with the early childhood community, help schools, educators and communities educate all children, drawing from the experience of proven programs and educators.

The process and the video documentation of daily work is based on a code of ethics that we have practiced for many years. Our videos are genuine, un intrusive, sensitive, considerate and un manipulated. It will strive to observe visually and capture processes, and gather advice and reflections from those who are doing the work and are eager to share their accumulated experience.
Our documentation work is in dialogue with our early childhood education partners to make sure we understand their needs and concerns. We formulated release forms for educational use in order to give all participants assurance of privacy and appropriate usage of the media produced.
